SDAHA is developing Team SD U18 Boy’s Hockey team

We will be having open try-outs June 8th, 2013 at the Merk in Sioux Falls. There will be two 1.5 hour on ice sessions during the day starting on ice time of 12:15.

The cost will be 100.00 to cover the expense of the try-outs. Sign up at SDAHA website.

At this point we have two options for the team.

1.       Go to USA Hockey’s National tournament in Wayne NJ April 2-6^th  2014. This option will require the team to play 20 qualifying games before we go.  We would try to enter into a U18 League to get our games in.   OR

2.       Go to America’s Pittsburgh Showcase sponsored by USA Hockey mid-April 2014. This option does not require the 20 games to qualify.

If needed the SDAHA board has committed to 4000.00 in startup money to help with equipment for the team.

If you are unable to attend and want to be part of the team there is the POSSIBLITY of getting an exception to qualify for the team. The exceptions will be handled on a case by case basis. Even with an exception players will be required to pay the 100.00 tryout fee.
