In a blowout game, Brookings Rangers BV beat Watertown Lakers BV 9 - 3 at Brookings-Red on Saturday. Brookings Rangers BV racked up five goals to take the lead in the first period. In the second, Brookings Rangers BV outscored Watertown Lakers BV two to one and kept the lead. Both teams scored two goals in the third period but Brookings Rangers BV kept the lead for the win.

Having a huge day, Cory Roach netted two goals for Brookings Rangers BV and also two points. Brookings Rangers BV's Roach put the biscuit over the goal line in the first period. Matt Eng and Caleb Bullington got the assists on this goal. Brookings Rangers BV pierced the defense when Roach put the biscuit over the goal line for a power play goal in the second period. Dylan Rittershaus got the assist on this goal. Brookings Rangers BV's Zach VanLiere scored two goals for Brookings Rangers BV. During the first period, VanLiere got an unassisted goal. VanLiere put the puck in the net for a power play goal with assists from TJ Theodosopoulos and Matt Eng.
