Austin Wagner is leader with a hat trick, Oahe Capitals BV gets more shots to come up with the shutout win

Shutting out their opponents, Oahe Capitals BV beat Aberdeen Cougars BV 10 - 0 at Oahe on Saturday. Oahe Capitals BV scored five goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. Oahe Capitals BV gained two unanswered goals in the second period and held on to its lead. Oahe Capitals BV never looked back. In the final period Oahe Capitals BV scored three goals adding to the margin of victory and winning the game.

Displaying a great scoring touch, Austin Wagner earned the hat trick with three goals and also had one assist. With 16:22 left to play in the first period Wagner netted a goal with assists from Jace Jerome and Cash Anderson. During the first period, with 9:21 left Wagner put the puck in the net. Bo Atkins got the assist on this goal. With 12:47 left to play in the second period Wagner got an unassisted goal. Oahe Capitals BV's Tyler Vandermaten got two goals for Oahe Capitals BV. Coming through for Oahe Capitals BV, Vandermaten scored a goal with 1:05 left in the first period with an assist from Drew Leif. Piercing though the defense, Vandermaten lit the lamp with 11:59 left in the third period. Jace Jerome got the assist on this goal.

Two goaltenders were used by Oahe Capitals BV to get the win. Turning in a perfect performance, Oahe Capitals BV's Kyle Mammenga made 12 saves to take the win. Having a perfect day, Oahe Capitals BV's Alex Meagher blocked five out of five shots on goal. Aberdeen Cougars BV's Jon Loefke stopped six out of eight shots.
