Aberdeen Cougars PWB was superior against Oahe Capitals PWB 5 - 2 at Oahe Expo on Sunday. Oahe Capitals PWB chalked up two goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. Aberdeen Cougars PWB added two unanswered goals in the second period to tie the score. The end of the second period saw both teams at two goals a piece. Aberdeen Cougars PWB took the lead in the third period with three goals and won the game.

Jacob Walth, Trevin Maurer, Terron Martin, Daeton Hunstad, and Jared Everson each contributed one goal for Aberdeen Cougars PWB.

Having a standout day, Aberdeen Cougars PWB's Caiden Frericks finished with 19 saves to get the win, despite being outshot 21 to 16 by Oahe Capitals PWB. Oahe Capitals PWB's Tate Mueller had just 11 saves on 16 shots and got the loss.

Aberdeen Cougars PWB ended their streak of six losing games and ended the game with a record of 2-7. Oahe Capitals PWB ended the game with a record of 4-6.
