Brooke Fendrich netted the game-winning goal with 0:31 left in the second period, as Oahe Capitals GJV prevailed over Yankton Miracle GJV 3 - 2 at Oahe on Saturday. Oahe Capitals GJV tallied up one goal to take the lead in the first period. Both teams chalked up two goals in the second period but Oahe Capitals GJV kept the lead for the win. Yankton Miracle GJV's fate was sealed. With both teams scoreless in the third period, Oahe Capitals GJV held on to its lead, and was the winner.

In the first period, things got going when Oahe Capitals GJV's Brooke Fendrich scored a goal with an assist from Carly Niemann, with 6:34 left in the period. In the second period, piling on, Brooke Fendrich put the puck in the net without assistance with 9:52 left on the clock, to get further in the lead. Yankton Miracle GJV made it happen on the ice when Erica Westerman got the puck past goalie Bogue Madison with an assist from Iesley Stone, with 8:23 left in the period. Then Iesley Stone lit the lamp without assistance with 3:20 left in the period, to make the score even. Oahe Capitals GJV's Brooke Fendrich put the biscuit over the goal line without any assistance, with 0:31 left on the clock, going ahead for the win. It was the final straw for Yankton Miracle GJV.

Displaying a great scoring touch, Brooke Fendrich made the hat trick with three goals. Niemann contributed one assist for Oahe Capitals GJV.

Iesley Stone scored one goal for Yankton Miracle GJV and also had one assist. Erica Westerman tallied one goal for Yankton Miracle GJV.

Oahe Capitals GJV's Bogue Madison blocked 10 out of 12 shots on goal to take the win. Yankton Miracle GJV's Renee Cross turned away 14 shots to suffer the loss.
