Wyatt Nielsen is leader with the hat trick while Sioux Falls Flyers BV scores three goals in the first, goes on to get a narrow win

In a tightly contested game, Sioux Falls Flyers BV won against Oahe Capitals BV 6 - 5 at Oahe on Friday. Sioux Falls Flyers BV outscored Oahe Capitals BV three to two to take the lead at the end of the first period. In the second period, Sioux Falls Flyers BV scored two goals to Oahe Capitals BV's one and kept the lead. In the last period Oahe Capitals BV outscored their opponents however Sioux Falls Flyers BV kept its lead, and won the game.

Leading the way to a win for Sioux Falls Flyers BV, Wyatt Nielsen scored the hat trick with three goals and also had one helper. Making it happen on the ice for Sioux Falls Flyers BV, Nielsen got a power play goal with 10:03 left in the first period. Brandon Appeldorn assisted on this goal. With 9:28 left to play in the first period Nielsen scored another goal with an assist from Brandon Appeldorn. Sioux Falls Flyers BV kept going when Nielsen put the puck between the pipes with 1:56 left in the second period with an assist from Caleb Anderson.

Sioux Falls Flyers BV's Josh Jackson had just 26 saves on 31 shots to get the win. Oahe Capitals BV's Kyle Mammenga had only 28 saves on 34 shots on goal for the loss.

Oahe Capitals BV ended the game with a record of 12-3.
