Sioux Falls Flyers GV handed a loss to Mitchell Marlins GV 8 - 4 at Mitchell on Friday. Mitchell Marlins GV scored one goal to take the lead in the first period. Sioux Falls Flyers GV gained four goals in the second period to take over the lead. In the third period, Sioux Falls Flyers GV scored four goal to Mitchell Marlins GV's 3 and kept the lead to win the game.

Turning in a great performance for Sioux Falls Flyers GV, Kayla Nack got the hat trick with four goals. During the second period, with 3:53 left Nack put the puck between the pipes. Alex Bettmeng assisted on this goal. With 3:03 left to play in the second period Nack got a second goal with an assist from Mackenzie Oien. With 10:56 left to play in the third period Nack got another goal with assists from Alex Bettmeng and Nikia Bradley. During the third period, with 4:53 left Nack got an unassisted goal.

Sioux Falls Flyers GV's Carson Haase made 16 saves for the win. Mitchell Marlins GV's Hannah Spates had just 17 saves on 25 shots to get the loss.

Sioux Falls Flyers GV extended their winning streak to four games and ended the game with a record of 8-7. Mitchell Marlins GV ended the game with a record of 5-8.
