Sam Schutt slams two goals as Brookings Rangers BV scores two goals in the first, goes on to prevail, raises string of wins to 6 games

In a close game, Brookings Rangers BV overcame Aberdeen Cougars BV 5 - 4 at Odde Ice Arena on Saturday. Brookings Rangers BV outscored Aberdeen Cougars BV two to one to take the lead at the end of the first period. Brookings Rangers BV added three unanswered goals in the second period and held on to its lead. Aberdeen Cougars BV added three goals in the third period but it was not enough to win the game.

Brookings Rangers BV's Sam Schutt made two goals for Brookings Rangers BV. Coming through for Brookings Rangers BV, Schutt netted a goal with 14:52 left in the second period. Cory Roach and Caleb Bullington assisted on this goal. Pushing forward, Brookings Rangers BV's Schutt put the puck between the pipes for a power play goal with 6:01 left in the second period.
