Carter Shoup on fire with two goals, Brookings Rangers PWB scores three goals in the third to win

Brookings Rangers PWB overcame Oahe Capitals PWB 4 - 1 at Brookings Red on Saturday. Brookings Rangers PWB racked up one unanswered goal to jump in to the lead in the first period. Oahe Capitals PWB tied the score in the second period with one goal. The second period closed with both teams at one goal each. Brookings Rangers PWB added three unanswered goals in the third period to break the tie and take the lead, grabbing a late victory.

In the first period, Brookings Rangers PWB's Riley Jacobsen scored a goal with 10:54 left on the clock. Alec Nielson got the assist on the goal. In the second period, Oahe Capitals PWB's Hudson Rohrbach lit the lamp with an assist from Patrick Mechaley, with 14:04 left in the period, bringing the game to a tie at one apiece.
