In a shutout victory, Rushmore Thunder GJV finished off Yankton Miracle GJV 7 - 0 at Yankton on Saturday. Rushmore Thunder GJV tallied up three goals to take the lead in the first period. Rushmore Thunder GJV added three unanswered goals in the second period and held on to its lead. Yankton Miracle GJV were not able to answer back. In the final period Rushmore Thunder GJV scored one goal adding to the margin of victory and winning the game.

Rushmore Thunder GJV's Maddy Herman got two goals for Rushmore Thunder GJV and also had one helper. Things got going when Rushmore Thunder GJV's Herman scored a goal with 6:51 left in the first period. Abby Fenhaus got the assist on this goal. During the third period, with 12:37 left Herman scored another goal with an assist from Hallie Mundt.
