TJ Theodosopoulos smashes a hat trick, Brookings Rangers BV scores two goals in the first, goes on to win by a wide margin on the road, lifts streak of wins to 9 games

Winning by a large margin, Brookings Rangers BV finished off Sioux Falls Flyers BV 8 - 1 at SF Expo on Friday. Brookings Rangers BV chalked up two goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. In the second, Brookings Rangers BV outscored Sioux Falls Flyers BV two to one and kept the lead. Brookings Rangers BV's defense shut down Sioux Falls Flyers BV for the rest of the game. In the final period Brookings Rangers BV scored four unanswered goals sealing the deal and winning the game.

Leading the way to a win for Brookings Rangers BV, TJ Theodosopoulos scored the hat trick with four goals and also had one point. Theodosopoulos put the puck between the pipes for a power play goal with an assist from Zach VanLiere. Adding another score for Brookings Rangers BV, Theodosopoulos put the biscuit into the net for a shorthanded goal in the second period with an assist from Matt Eng. Pounding the defense, Theodosopoulos put the biscuit into the net in the third period with assists from Matt Eng and Zach VanLiere. Piercing though the defense, Theodosopoulos lit the lamp in the third period with an assist from Matt Eng.

Showing a super performance, Brookings Rangers BV's Hunter Rowbotham stopped 25 out of 26 shots to take the win. Multiple goalies were in the crease for Sioux Falls Flyers BV's loss. Sioux Falls Flyers BV's Josh Jackson had only 19 saves on 26 shots on goal and got the loss. Sioux Falls Flyers BV's Isaac Althoff had six saves.

Brookings Rangers BV continued their current win streak of eight games and now has a record of 16-2. Sioux Falls Flyers BV ended the game with a record of 12-3.
