Watertown Lakers BV Fails To Score Against Oahe Capitals BV 5-0

Bo Atkins rips the hat trick, Oahe Capitals BV scores game winning goal in the first, goes on to get the shutout win on the road

In a shutout victory, Oahe Capitals BV beat Watertown Lakers BV 5 - 0 at Watertown on Saturday. Oahe Capitals BV tallied up one unanswered goal to take the lead in the first period. Oahe Capitals BV gained two straight goals in the second period and held on to its lead. Oahe Capitals BV's defense shut down Watertown Lakers BV for the rest of the game. In the final period Oahe Capitals BV scored two goals padding its lead and winning the game.

Turning in a great performance for Oahe Capitals BV, Bo Atkins earned the hat trick with three goals and also had one assist. Things got going when Oahe Capitals BV's Atkins got a goal with 0:16 left in the first period with an assist from Austin Wagner. During the second period, with 13:31 left Atkins scored an unassisted goal. Pushing forward, Oahe Capitals BV's Atkins put the biscuit over the goal line for a power play goal with 15:45 left in the third period with assists from Austin Wagner and Jace Jerome.

Turning in a perfect performance, Oahe Capitals BV's Kyle Mammenga made 33 saves to take the win, despite being outshot 33 to 25 by Watertown Lakers BV. Watertown Lakers BV's Adam Arendsee had just 20 saves on 25 shots and got the loss.

Watertown Lakers BV was 0-for-5.

Oahe Capitals BV moves to a record of 15-4. Watertown Lakers BV ended the game with a record of 7-9.
