Deanna Robinson impresses with a hat trick as Brookings Rangers GJV produces shots to come up with the shutout win

Shutting out the competition, Brookings Rangers GJV beat Yankton Miracle GJV 5 - zero at Yankton on Saturday. Brookings Rangers GJV racked up one goal to jump in to the lead in the first period. Brookings Rangers GJV gained two goals in the second period and held on to its lead. It would prove to be too much for Yankton Miracle GJV. In the final period Brookings Rangers GJV scored two consecutive goals padding its lead and winning the game.

Having a huge impact in the game for Brookings Rangers GJV, Deanna Robinson made the hat trick with three goals. Putting a first goal on the board, Robinson netted an unassisted goal with 9:18 left in the first period. Brookings Rangers GJV fired up their game when Robinson put the biscuit into the net with 14:06 left in the second period. Klara Beinhorn assisted on this goal. Brookings Rangers GJV found more success on the ice when Robinson netted another goal with 3:31 left in the second period with assists from Shelby Meyer and Kalani Perry.

Leading the way to a shutout for Brookings Rangers GJV, Karlee Krogman turned away eight shots to get the win. Yankton Miracle GJV's Renee Cross had only 18 saves on 23 shots on goal to suffer the loss.

Yankton Miracle GJV ended the game with a record of 0-22.
