Brandon Appeldorn slams a hat trick as Sioux Falls Flyers BV scores six goals in the first, goes on to dominate the game on the road

In a blowout game, Sioux Falls Flyers BV beat Watertown Lakers BV 11 - 1 at Watertown on Saturday. Sioux Falls Flyers BV outscored Watertown Lakers BV six to one to take the lead at the end of the first period. Sioux Falls Flyers BV added three goals in the second period and held on to its lead. Watertown Lakers BV's fate was sealed. In the final period Sioux Falls Flyers BV scored two goals adding to the margin of victory and winning the game.

Displaying a great scoring touch, Brandon Appeldorn scored the hat trick with three goals in addition to two points. Appeldorn put the puck between the pipes with an assist from Caleb Anderson. In addition, Appeldorn lit the lamp in the second period with an assist from Wyatt Nielsen. Showing off a strong stick, Wyatt Nielsen made the hat trick with three goals in addition to three helpers. Nielsen put the puck between the pipes with assists from Ben Prisbe and Caleb Anderson. During the third period, Nielsen got a third goal with assists from Brandon Appeldorn and Lucas Mutschelknaus.

Having a standout day, Sioux Falls Flyers BV's Josh Jackson made 11 saves to take the win. Watertown Lakers BV used two goalies in their loss. Watertown Lakers BV's Jordan Hamann stopped seven out of 11 shots. In goal, Watertown Lakers BV's Adam Arendsee had only 6 saves on 13 shots on goal to suffer the loss.
