Austin Wagner nets the hat trick, Oahe Capitals BV scores four goals in the third to get the narrow victory

Austin Wagner netted the game winner with 7:53 left in the third period, as Oahe Capitals BV got the better of Huron All Stars BV 7 - 5 at larson ice center on Friday. Oahe Capitals BV outscored Huron All Stars BV three to two to take the lead at the end of the first period. Huron All Stars BV took over the lead in the second period with two goals. Huron All Stars BV was ahead four to three, but things would take a turn for the worse in the third period. In the third period, Oahe Capitals BV outscored Huron All Stars BV four to one and took away the lead to snatch the win.

Displaying a great scoring touch, Austin Wagner made the hat trick with five goals. Oahe Capitals BV's Wagner put the puck in the net with 7:25 left in the first period. Bo Atkins got the assist on this goal. During the first period, with 2:21 left Wagner netted a power play goal. Alec Norwick and Cash Anderson got the assists on this goal. During the third period, with 12:43 left Wagner put the biscuit into the net for a power play goal. Alec Norwick assisted on this goal. Piling on, Wagner put the puck between the pipes for a shorthanded goal with 10:56 left in the third period with an assist from Bo Atkins. During the third period, with 7:53 left Wagner lit the lamp with an assist from Jace Jerome.

Oahe Capitals BV's Kyle Mammenga had only 21 saves on 26 shots on goal to earn the win. Huron All Stars BV's Parker Hook had only 29 saves on 36 shots on goal and so suffered the loss.

Oahe Capitals BV extended their winning streak to four games and ended the game with a record of 17 wins and 4 losses. Huron All Stars BV finished the game with a record of 7-14.
