Caleb Anderson slams a goal while Sioux Falls Flyers BV scores two goals in the third to win narrowly

Wyatt Nielsen scored the game winner with 10:54 left in the third period, as Sioux Falls Flyers BV beat Oahe Capitals BV 3 - 1 at Brookings on Saturday. Both teams were scoreless in the first period. Both teams scored one goal in the second period and remained tied. The second period closed with both teams at one goal all. Sioux Falls Flyers BV added two unanswered goals in the third period to break the tie and take the lead, grabbing a late victory.

In the second period, Sioux Falls Flyers BV's Jack Hunter put the puck between the pipes with assists from Brandon Reiff and Cody Solma, with 15:31 left in the period. Soaring through for Oahe Capitals BV, Seth Varty put the puck between the pipes with an assist from Austin Wagner with 7:37 left on the clock, evening the score with one goal each. In the third period, Sioux Falls Flyers BV's Wyatt Nielsen scored a goal with 10:54 left in the period. Caleb Anderson assisted on the goal, moving into the lead and winning. Sioux Falls Flyers BV was now out in front for good. Continuing the roll, Caleb Anderson got the puck past goalie Kyle Mammenga with an assist from Parker Dawes with 0:30 left on the clock, to pull further ahead.

Caleb Anderson scored one goal for Sioux Falls Flyers BV and also had one helper. Jack Hunter and Wyatt Nielsen each tallied one goal for Sioux Falls Flyers BV. Solma, Reiff, and Dawes each added one assist for Sioux Falls Flyers BV.

Seth Varty added one goal for Oahe Capitals BV.

Showing off a strong glove, Sioux Falls Flyers BV's Josh Jackson blocked 21 out of 22 shots on goal to get the win. Oahe Capitals BV's Kyle Mammenga had 27 saves on 30 shots to suffer the loss.
