In overtime, Huron All Stars BV got the better of Watertown Lakers BV 5 - 4 at Brookings on Sunday. Watertown Lakers BV outscored Huron All Stars BV two to one to take the lead at the end of the first period. Neither team scored in the second period so Watertown Lakers BV kept its lead. Watertown Lakers BV was ahead two to one, but this wouldn't last. In the third period, with defenses wearing down, Huron All Stars BV outscored their opponents by one goal and tied for the lead sending the game into overtime. In the overtime, Huron All Stars BV scored one unanswered goal to win in the end.

In an excellent performance, Justin Davis made two goals for Huron All Stars BV as well as three helpers. Coming through for Huron All Stars BV, Davis put the puck in the net for a power play goal with 15:42 left in the third period with assists from Paul Cramer and Justin Ruedebusch. With 10:24 left to play in the third period Davis scored another goal. Austin Duxbury got the assist on this goal. Having a huge day, Justin Ruedebusch netted two goals for Huron All Stars BV as well as two helpers. Things got going when Huron All Stars BV's Ruedebusch lit the lamp with 0:33 left in the first period with an assist from Justin Davis. With 0:01 left to play in the third period Ruedebusch put the puck between the pipes for a power play goal with assists from Justin Davis and Austin Duxbury.

Huron All Stars BV's Parker Hook made 28 saves for the win, despite being outshot 32 to 31 by Watertown Lakers BV. Watertown Lakers BV's Adam Arendsee had only 26 saves on 31 shots on goal to get the loss.
