Oahe Capitals BV beat Rushmore Thunder BV 5 - 2 at larson ice center on Sunday. Oahe Capitals BV racked up two goals to take the lead in the first period. Rushmore Thunder BV gained two goals in the second period to even up the score. The end of the second period saw both teams at two goals each. Oahe Capitals BV added three goals in the third period to break the tie and take the lead, grabbing a late victory.

Showing off a strong stick, Austin Wagner earned the hat trick with three goals as well as two assists. With 9:43 left to play in the first period Wagner got a shorthanded goal. Cash Anderson assisted on this goal. Oahe Capitals BV fired up their game when Wagner put the puck in the net for a power play goal with 10:18 left in the third period. Oahe Capitals BV's Kyle Mammenga turned away 13 shots to earn the win. Rushmore Thunder BV's Jason Walter had only 29 saves on 34 shots on goal for the loss.
