Dylan Rittershaus gets two goals as Brookings Rangers BV scores two goals in the first, goes on to prevail, lengthens streak of wins to 15 games

Brookings Rangers BV got the better of Sioux Falls Flyers BV 7 - 2 at larson ice center on Sunday. Brookings Rangers BV racked up two goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. In the second, Brookings Rangers BV scored four goals to Sioux Falls Flyers BV's one and kept the lead. Both teams scored one goal in the third period but Brookings Rangers BV kept the lead for the win.

Brookings Rangers BV's Dylan Rittershaus got two goals for Brookings Rangers BV. Things got going when Brookings Rangers BV's Rittershaus put the puck in the net without assistance with 7:50 left in the second period. Brookings Rangers BV pierced the defense when Rittershaus put the biscuit into the net for a shorthanded goal with 2:58 left in the second period with an assist from Cory Roach.

Having a huge impact in the game, Brookings Rangers BV's Hunter Rowbotham blocked 24 out of 26 shots on goal to gain the win, despite being outshot 26 to 25 by Sioux Falls Flyers BV. Sioux Falls Flyers BV's Josh Jackson had just 18 saves on 25 shots to suffer the loss.

Brookings Rangers BV extended their winning streak to 15 games and now has a record of 22-2. Sioux Falls Flyers BV ended the game with a record of 20-4.
